pride in manufacturing quality products and are AS 9100, ISO 9001, ASQR-01, ASQR-02,
ASQR-09.1, and FAA Overhaul and Repair certified. Our environment controlled inspection room
is held between 68°F and 71°F.
Lewis Engineering
Inc. performs in house calibrations of inspection gauging per
ANSI Z540-1994 traceable to NIST using a Helios Supra 500. Calibrations
include Cylindrical Ring gauges, Cylindrical Plug gauges, Set
Discs, Thread gauges, Bore gauges, and various types of Indicators.
The Helios Supra 500 incorporates a high precision Heidenhain
glass scale which operates in a range spanning from zero to twelve
inches. Measurements on gauges with Class X and XX tolerances
as close as +/- .000010 are completed. The Helios system incorporates
gauge management using the professional software program Gage
InSite Enterprise from IndySoft Corporation. The software is a
total gauge management system, which includes tracking of all
gauge calibrations, gauge usage history and individual gauge information.
